Mrs. Mary Ann Askew, 94, of Brewton, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013.

Mrs. Askew was preceded in death by two sons, Lonnie Askew and Levon Askew; two daughters, Mary Hill and Erma Wicker.

She is survived by three daughters, Lillie Sanders of Brewton, Elaine Hall of Brewton and Clara (Levon) Williams of Detroit, MI; one son, Curtis Askew of Brewton; 19 grandchildren; 64 great and great-great grandchildren; a son-in-law, Levon Williams, Jr.; a special niece, Jewel Springfield of Detroit, Mich.; a sister-in-law, Nellie Diggs of Newville, Ala.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral arrangements were held Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Baptist Hill M.B.C. with Pastor Eric Andrews officiating. Interment followed at Baptist Hill Cemetery with Christian Memorial Funeral Home of Brewton directing.

Pallbearers were Anjovan Askew, Michael Askew, Michael Askew Jr., Curtis Cottman, Tyrone Miller, James Smith and Norman Spears.
