Mr. Morris Ray Nicholson, 62, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2013 at a Pensacola, Fla. hospital.

He was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. He worked at various jobs before being employed with T.R. Miller Mill Company where he worked a number of years before retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Olivia Nicholson and Ezra Nicholson; one brother, Charles Nicholson.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Elaine Nicholson of Brewton; his children, Aaron Lamont Nicholson, Teresa Nicholson (Willie) Montgomery and April Evett Nicholson all of Brewton; siblings, Geraldine (Paul) Lee, Forrest (Ora) Lett, Sylvia Stevenson all of Brewton, Mary Sherrer and Willie Nicholson both of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Devin, Shakera, Tyrese, Markil, Chasen, Aaron Jr., A’Keym and Asiah Nicholson; his mother in law, Mencile Hubbard of Brewton; his sisters in law, Mary Lovelace of Detroit, Mich., Clascile Broughton of Pensacola, Margaret (Sylvester) Herbert and Jacqueline Hubbard, both of Brewton; brothers in law, Henry Barnard and Edward Morris Hubbard of Brewton, a god daughter, Tommeitra Jackson; a god son, Dedric Lawson; a spiritual brother, Willie Joe Ellis; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
