Nathan Edward Davis

Mr. Nathan Edward Davis, 92, of Ridge Road died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 at a local hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Pace and had been a resident of the Brewton area since 1982, coming from Terre Haute, Ind. He was retired from the U.S. Navy, having served in both World War II and Korea. He was a 50 year member of the American Legion, the VFW and Navy Fleet Reserve Post 210 in Milton. Mr. Davis was a member of May Creek Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rea Millicent Davis of Brewton; two sons, Charles Edward (Linda) Davis of Brewton and William S. (Karen) Davis of Hinesville, Ga.; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Craver’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with Pastor John Whitfield and Pastor Floyd Dyal officiating. Interment will follow in May Creek Cemetery with military honors.
