Four charged in separate drug cases

Four Brewton residents were arrested in recent days as a result of undercover drug investigations, police said.
“Some of the arrests resulted from individuals selling narcotics to undercover police officers posing as drug buyers,” said Sgt. Andrew Casey. “Drug buys were made of controlled substances including crack/cocaine, hydrocodone pills and Suboxone.”
Those arrested included:
• Ron Merrell Reid, 26, of Brewton, on charges of two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
• Jane Riddle Harris, 61, of Brewton, on charges of two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
• Daniel Stuart Harris, 38, of Brewton, on charges of two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
• Kurtis Levar Hall Cottman, 27, of Brewton, on charges of three counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and three counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
