Jay, Fla.
Audrey Gene Wood, 70, of Milton, Fla., passed away at his home on Fri., April 4, 2014, after a lengthy illness.
A native of Jay, Fla., and a member of the Milton, Fla., Community since 1992 coming from Century, Fla., Mr. Wood worked as a forklift operator at Jim Walton Doors that later became Crawford Doors. He was of the Holiness faith and a member of Ebenezer Assembly of God Church.
Visitation was held on Tues., April 8, at the Flomaton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held today, Wed., April 9, at the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Bobby Carnely officiating. Interment will follow in Cora Baptist Cemetery in Jay, Fla., with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mrs. Lillian Elbia Wood of Milton, Fla.; sons, Audrey Lynn (Tonia) Wood of Orange County, Calif., and Christopher Wood of Flomaton; daughters, Lisa Marie (Eddie) Peek of Flomaton and April Joann Wood of Berrydale, Fla.; brothers, Jimmy Wood of Jay, Fla., and Richard Dale Wood of Milton, Fla.; sisters, Mary Alice ‘Polly’ (Keith) Garrison of Jay, Fla., and Shirley (Doug) Nelson of Century, Fla.; a very special niece, Betty Jo Kitchens of Monroeville; a very special friend, Christina Baldwin of Jay, Fla.; grandchildren, Khrystopherr Robert Wood, Samantha Lee Peek, Dustyn Ashton Wood, Bobby Gavin Wood, Angelina Marie Ard, Jamie Lee Peek, Robin May Ard, Kasey Lynn Wood, Jessica Renee Peek and Mason Rex Lail; and great-granddaughter, Peyton Raleigh Peek.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Walter and Bertha Lee Simmons Wood; his daughter, Tammy Lynn Wood; and brothers, James Earl Wood, Allen Jack “A.J.” Wood and Oscar Junior Wood.
Pallbearers will be Allen Inman, Eric Wood, Brian Wood, Matt Hanks, Daniel Morgan and Daniel Wood.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jay Ates, Ronald Lail, Cody Lowery, Cliff Emmons and Cameron Macks.

Mr. Ralph Edward Green Sr.
Castleberry
Mr. Ralph Edward Green Sr., 90, died on Sat., April 5, 2014, at his residence in Castleberry.
Visitation will be tonight, Wed., April, 9, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., at Cope Funeral Home in Evergreen and from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at London Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Thurs., April 10, at 3 p.m., with Cope Funeral Home directing.
He was a PFC in the Army Air Corp/Air Force during World War II. He was an electrician in the 858th Bomb Squadron and the 92nd Bomb Group during his four years of service. He was honorably discharged on Feb. 19, 1946. He worked a total of 41 years as an electrician with civil service at Brookley Field and Pensacola (Fla.) Naval Air Station until his retirement in January 1983. He was a 61-year member of the Scottish Rites. He was a member of London Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Martha Mae Green, and one sister, Thelma Earnestine Green McClendon.
He is survived by wife of 67 years, Willa Mae Lombard Green; one brother, Ralph E. (Chris) Green Jr.; one daughter, Pattie Green Adair; three granddaughters, Crystal Adair, Jennifer Adair and Jesses Dunn; two grandsons, Justin Dunn and Joseph Dunn; two great-grandchildren, Scott Grady and Brennan Little; one sister, Mable Ruth Green Cain; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be John Ward, Jeff Reeves, Donald Jones, Thomas McClendon, Kevin Dunsford and Pete Findley.
Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of London Baptist Church.
