TRM golf places second in Monroeville by one stroke

The T.R. Miller golf team opened up their 2015 season Monday in Monroeville and missed a first place finish by one stroke.
In the six-team match, TRM took second place with a combined score of 166 while Andalusia edged the Tigers with a 165.
J.U. Blacksher finished in third place with a score of 178 followed by Monroe County’s 191, Excel’s 200 and W.S. Neal’s 222.
For TRM, Troy Hart led with a score of 38 followed by Hunter Harp’s 40. Will Smith shot a 41 while Tylan McDonald shot a 47. Yancey Jernigan rounded out the Tigers with a score of 48.
No individual scorers for W.S. Neal were known as of press time.
