TRM basketball player Chardian Johnson selected to play in North/South game

T.R. Miller junior basketball player Chardian Johnson was named as a member of the Alabama’s North/South boys basketball teams.
Earlier this year, Johnson was named to the 2015 Alabama Sports Writers Association’s All-State basketball teams. Johnson made class 3A’s second team.
The 6-foot junior guard helped lead TRM to a 17-11 record this past season and scored 568 points. Johnson averaged 22.7 points/game and 6.8 rebounds/game. He tallied 28 assists, 63 steals, and 25 blocks during the 2014-15 season.
The AHSAA released rosters Friday, with the games girls/boys doubleheader set for July 22 at Alabama State’s Acadome. Tip-off in the girls game is set for 6 p.m., with the boys game to follow.
Others making the South team include: Cameron Diggs Crawford of Blount, Joshua Hill of Faith Academy, Stephon Jackson of Smiths Station, Ryan Little of Enterprise, Roderick Melton of Northview, Kevin Morris of Dothan, Antonio Nelson of Carver-Montgomery, Deric Patton of Carroll-Ozark, John Pettway of Keith, Charles Price of Southside-Selma, Austin Rogers of Brewbaker-Tech, Clifford Thomas of Jeff Davis, Roderic Scott of Lee-Montgomery, and Tionne Williams of Central-Phenix City.
Willie Moore of Dallas County and John Price of Faith Academy will serve as coaches while Nigel Card of St. James will serve as administrative.
