Two Brewton men were critically injured Saturday in a one-vehicle accident on Old Castleberry Road.
Now, the community is asking for the public’s help for financial assistance for their families and recovery process.
Travis Sessions and Austin Agerton are currently listed as critical after the car they were riding in left the roadway and struck a tree.
A Gofundme account has been established for Sessions, his wife, Bridgett, and young daughter, Lily. Family reports Sessions, who suffered two broken legs and other long-disabling injures, is sitting up and communicating with family. He remains in the intensive care unit in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital.
Agerton, also remains in intensive care. Scheduled for surgery Tuesday morning, the W.S. Neal graduate also suffered long-debilitating injuries. Currently, fundraising plans are in the works to help the family with medical expenses.
On Sunday, family and friends gathered in the Wal-Mart parking lot for a prayer vigil. More than 50 attended.
