GULF SHORES— The T.R. Miller softball team went 1-1 in their games Thursday at the Class 3A South Regionals in Gulf Shores.
TRM opened with a 14-10 win over Dale County in their first game of the day.
In the nightcap, TRM lost to Slocomb 5-1.
“We are alive and get to play tomorrow,” TRM head coach Greg White said. “You want to get that chance to play on the next day and we now have that chance. That’s where we are. Now we have to go win Friday.”
The Lady Tigers will face Excel Friday morning at 10 a.m. in a loser’s bracket game.
TRM moved to 17-9-2 overall this season with the split Thursday.
