The public is invited celebrate the professional service of nine retiring Brewton City School employees on Sun., May 17.
Those honored are:
• Superintendent Lynn Smith;
• Cheryl Bagwell;
• Carrie Brown;
• Shelly Johnson;
• Jim Hart;
• Beverly Wade;
• Sandy Cauley;
• Rebecca Stringer; and,
• Margaret Herbert.
A reception will be held from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the central office boardroom.

Graduation times announced:
As May comes to a close, final plans are being made for local graduation exercises.
T. R. Miller and W.S. Neal high school will hold graduation on Fri., May 29, at 7 p.m. – TRM at JDCC and WSN in the school auditorim.
TRM families and friends should also mark the date for Class Night, which will be held on Tues., May 19, 6 p.m., in the school auditorium.
Other important WSN dates include:
• Class night on Thurs., May 21, at 7 p.m., in the auditorium; and,
• Baccalaureate on Sun., May 24, at East Brewton First Baptist Church at 4 p.m.
