Moye and Huskey win recent FOM, Alabama South tourney in Camden

Fishers of Men, Alabama South recent held its first Legacy tournament on May 16, at Ellis Landing in Camden. The Friday night event was hosted by Camden United Methodist church.
At the tournament on Saturday, at the end of the day, six teams brought a limit of fish to the scales. All total there were 30 fish weighed in for a total of 65.94 pounds. The team of Brian Moye and Conner Huskey took first place as they weighed in five fish that weighed 15.94 pounds. Moye and Huskey caught their fish on a shakeyhead and a swim jig.
The team of Sammy Thomas and Skylar Thomas took second place as they weighed in five fish that weighed 15.77 pounds. They caught their fish on shakey head, buzz baits, jigs and a frog.
The team of Danny and Gage Parker took third place and had the big fish of the day that weighed in at 4.91 pounds. It was caught on a white buzz bait.
The next team tournament will be the last tournament for 2015 on the team side. It will be fished in Demopolis.
The next Legacy tournament for 2015 will be fished on Claiborne Lake outside of Monroeville, and will be on June 20, out of Isaac Creek.
Alabama South is hoping to have an open tournament later on in the year.
