The Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its 10th annual Chamber Golf Classic on Thurs., May 21, at the Country Club of Brewton. A total of 15 teams competed in the classic.
Team entries included: Trustmark; Bank of Brewton; Grede, LLC; Georgia-Pacific; David’s Catfish; Jim Peach Motors; T.R. Miller Mill Company; Southern Pine Electric; Brewton Rotary Club; Diamond Oil; Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC; Jackson Thornton & Co.; B&C Wood, LLC; Wendy Folmar – State Farm; and Servpro.
Brewton Rotary Club took first place while Jackson Thornton & Co. took second and David’s Catfish came in third. The first place team took $400 while second place $300 and third place took $200.
The Brewton Rotary Club team consisted of Steven Dickey, Brad Byrne, Andrew Clark and Rodney Arrant. Ed Williamson, Tommy Thompson, Lee Talbot and Chris Smith were on the Jackson Thornton & Co. team. The David’s Catfish team consisted of Chippy Byrne, Joey Turner, Lucas Douglas and David Stokes.
