The Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking sponsors for its second annual PCA Rodeo. The event will be held on Fri., Oct. 16, and Sat. Oct. 17, at O’Bannon Park.
Attendance for the event is projected at 1,500 or more. With the success of last year’s event, Chamber director Judy Crane believes this is a great promotional opportunity.
“We feel the event will provide businesses and organizations excellent visibility to a captive audience with unique advertising opportunities,” said Crane.
All ads and logos are due with payment by Oct. 1.
Professional cowboys and cowgirls compete in PCA-sanctioned rodeos throughout the year in hopes of being one of the top 15 contestants from each rodeo event invited to participate in the PCA Finals Rodeo held in January of each year. As the season winds down, contestants are looking to gain more points to qualify, meaning a draw from top contestants from miles around. For the rodeo spectator, this means top quality entertainment.
The rodeo action begins with a grand entry of riders led by the American flag. The rodeo will consist of eight different rodeo events and wrap up with the popular and thrilling, bull-riding category. Delicious food, vendor booths, and outside entertainment will provide an added bonus to the rodeo experience.
Businesses can choose between two major sponsorships: the Gold Buckle (one available) and the Silver Spur (eight available).
Other sponsorships include: bucking chute sponsor, announcer sponsor, pick-up sponsor, bull-fighter sponsor and arena fence signs.
“However, if these do not meet your objectives, please let us know and we will attempt to customize a program to meet your needs,” said Crane. “We look forward to having you as a sponsor and encourage you to attend both nights of the event.”
Those with questions concerning sponsorship opportunities should contact the chamber office at 251.867.3224.
