It was a complete sweep for all three T.R. Miller volleyball teams Thursday night in its season opener in Andalusia.
In middle school action, BMS won 2-1 to start the year 1-0. BMS won the first set 25-21, lost set two 25-22, but won set three 17-15 to get the win.
In JV action, TRM started 1-0 as they took down Andalusia 2-0. TRM won set one 26-24 and set two 25-16.
In varsity action, the Terri Lynne Peacock era got underway with a win as the Lady Tigers started the season 1-0 under Peacock.
TRM won set one 25-14, set two 25-15 and set three 25-17 to finish off the sweep.
Peacock said all three teams did a good job coming out ready to execute.
“The Lady Tigers were consistent serving the ball,” Peacock said. “Grace Ruzic rattled off 10 in a row in the start of the second match. I was proud of the way all of the girls performed behind the service line. Tonight was another great opportunity to see our strengths and weaknesses. We will continue to improve and polish our game in order to be ready for our next challenge.”
