Monday afternoon, TRM defeated Opp to advance to the Super Regional Tournament.

The Lady Tigers won 3-0: 25-13, 25-22 and 25-8.

TRM volleyball coach Terri Lynne Peacock said she’s proud the way her team executed against Opp. “I am proud of the way we competed tonight,” Peacock said. “Our focus has been about being a more strategic volleyball team. We did a good job putting the ball in corners, down the line and finding the open spots.”

Leading TRM with 9 kills was Mykayla Harrison. Steely Ruzic had 18 assists.

With the win TRM advances to the Super Regional Tournament in Montgomery. TRM will play Friday, Oct. 23, at 12:45 p.m. If TRM wins they will play Saturday, Oct. 24, at 9 a.m. The tournament is single elimination.
