Weather changes some Round No. 1 playoff schedules, but we’re OK – right now

As of right now, the threat of severe weather will not impact local playoff games Friday, state sports officials are saying.
Earlier Tuesday morning, the Alabama High School Athletic Association announced it was moving a number of games to Thursday night because of impending inclement weather conditions.
T.R. Miller is scheduled to host Coosa County Friday. W.S. Neal will travel to Munford, and Flomaton will host New Brockton.
New Thursday match-ups announced included:
• Straughn at Bibb County;
• Kinston at Maplesville;
• Samson at Pickens County;
• Brantley will host A.L. Johnson;
• Daleville will host Greensboro;
• Greenville will host Dallas County; and,
• Charles Henderson at Demopolis.
In addition to the TRM and WSN names, other Friday match-ups are:
• Andalusia will host West Blockton;
• Opp at Midfield;
• Luverne at Mobile Christian;
• Georgiana will host Keith;
• McKenzie at Linden;
• Hillcrest-Evergreen at Montgomery Academy;
• Pike County will host Aliceville;
• Goshen at Washington County; and,
• Enterprise at McGill-Toolen.
