Raye Clayton Brown
Brewton
Raye Clayton Brown, 82, of Appleton Road, Brewton, passed away on Thurs., Nov. 19, 2015, at her residence after a brief illness.
Funeral services were held on Sat., Nov. 21, with visitation at 1 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home and services following at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Doug Greer officiating. Interment followed in Weaver Cemetery in Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
She was a native and life long resident of Brewton. She was a member of the Divine Temple Church and New Life Church and was a retired machine operator from Sheltex.
She is survived by her son, Greg (Rhonda) Brown; daughter, Mickie Thomason; sister, Opal Emmons, all of Brewton; brother,the Rev. Charles Clayton of East Brewton; two grandchildren, Jeremy (Tara) Lucas and Brooke Parker; and seven great grandchildren, Sydney, Preston, Gavin, Hailey, Cameron, Ryan and Aubree.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mickey Brown; grandson, Cody Brown; daughter-in-law, Debbie Brown; and two brothers, Kenneth Clayton and Harvey Clayton.

Ernestine ‘Tina’ Weaver Hart
Brewton
Ernestine “Tina” Weaver Hart, 75, of Brewton, passed away Wed., Nov. 24, 2015, at her residence after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held today, Wed., Dec. 2, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, followed by the service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Tommy Quick officiating. Interment will follow in Weaver Cemetery near Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
She was a native of Topton, Ala., and a former resident of Slidell, La., before moving to Brewton. She was a member of the Dogwood Hills Assembly of God Church. She was employed at St. Margaret’s – Mary School in Slidell as a supervisor of nutrition and facilities for many years.
She is survived by two sons, David Hodge of Auburn, and Broox Hart of Mobile; four daughters, Janice Hodge of Mobile and Cathy Grimes and Glenda Bowman, both of Brewton, and Tina Peters of Pearlington, Miss.; two sisters; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and a double first cousin, Marion Ruthland of Mobile.

Janice Sue Morris Wilson
East Brewton
Janice Sue Morris Wilson, 60, of Andrew Jackson Street, East Brewton, passed away Mon., Nov. 23, 2015 at her residence after a brief illness.
Memorial services were scheduled for Tues. afternoon, Dec. 1, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the New Life Baptist Church East Brewton with the Rev. Fred Billy officiating and Williams Memorial Funeral Chapel Home of Brewton in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her two sons, Steven (Kellie) Wilson of Brewton and Allen (Shelby) Wilson Jr. of Mo.; two daughters, Tequila (Terry) Andrews of Monroeville, Ala. and Shana Wilson of East Brewton; two sisters, Maxine (Danny) Brooks of East Brewton and Carol (Eugene) McCurdy of Jay, Fla.; and seven grandchildren.
She was a native of Arizona and a long time resident of East Brewton, Alabama. She attended New Life Church and was a homemaker.

Danny Ray Sheaffer Sr.
Brewton
Danny Ray Sheaffer Sr., 64, of Gravel Pit Road in Brewton, passed away Sun., Nov.29, 2015, at a local nursing facility after an extended illness.
He was a native of Peoria, Ill., and was a current resident of Brewton. He was a retired auto body repairman and was of the Christian faith.
Memorial services will be held at a later day with Craver’s Funeral Home Inc. of Brewton in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by a friend, Joyce Cumbie of Brewton, and a brother, Terry (Carol) Sheaffer of East Peoria, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his son, Danny Ray Sheaffer Jr.

Frances Golden Wall
East Brewton
Frances Golden Wall, 92, former resident of Earl Street in East Brewton, passed away Fri., Nov. 27, 2015, at a local hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral services were held Sun., Nov. 29, at 2 p.m. at Golden Memorial Holiness Church with the Rev. Andy Boutwell officiating. Interment followed in The Golden Memorial Holiness Church Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers were Rickey Hendricks, Greg Carter, Billy Golden, Mark Wall, Rush Wall, David Walther, Matt Wall and Mickey Baker.
She was a native of Pollard, and a resident of the East Brewton area for the past 69 years. She was a former ladies sales clerk for more than 40 years with Robbins and McGowin and Leon’s Fashions in Brewton. She attended the Golden Memorial Holiness Church.
She is survived by two sons, Bernie (Anita) Wall of Brewton and Tim Wall of Grayson, Ga.; one daughter; Elaine (Mickey) Wall Baker of Dublin, Ga.; a sister, Virginia (B.D.) Golden Hendricks of Jay, Fla.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Hubert B. “Pete” Wall Sr.; her parents, Charlie and Ethel Johnson Golden; her brothers, Lee Golden and Charles Golden; her sisters, Mary Golden Ballard and Nellie Golden Carter McGraw.

Lissa “Lisa” Ann Huggins Ikner, 55, of Frisco City, passed away on Tues., Nov. 24, 2015, at a Mobile Infirmary.
Visitation was held Sat., Nov. 28, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 p.m. at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services followed at 2:30 p.m. at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Hodges officiating. Burial followed in Monroe Chapel Cemetery.
She worked with the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier. She attended Oak Grove Baptist Church in Frisco City.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Idelle Johnson; father, Floyd Huggins; and two brothers, Jimmy Ray Higdon and Johnny Pitts Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Ray Ikner; two daughters, Samantha (Bill) Dykes and Hali McCormick; two brothers, Kenneth (Donna) Higdon and David Higdon; two sisters, Mary Jo (Ricky) Tolbert and Darlene (James) Stabler; stepsons, Darrell (Liz) Ikner, Rodney Ikner and Jason Ikner; step daughters, Rhonda (Randall) Jernigan and Denise (Claude) Johnson; 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
