The Jefferson Davis Community College basketball team began its 2016 campaign with losses against Lurleen B. Wallace, 55-65 and Enterprise 60-85

LBW carried a 40-30 lead into halftime. It was a neck and neck battle in the second half with both teams locking at 25-25.

Leading JDCC in scoring was Jerry Allen with 13 points.

Leading LBW was Kenneth Keith with 23 points and Nick Green with 17 points.

JDCC was outscored 34-20 in the first half and 51-40 in the second half.

Keonta Edwards led the Warhawks with 28 points, six rebounds and two blocks.
