There could be a new football rivalry for the T.R. Miller Tigers brewing after the state high school athletic association has released the new region classifications Wednesday.

Flomaton has joined the ranks of Class 3A Region 1 football with TRM, Clarke County, Cottage Hill, Excel, Hillcrest-Evergreen and Mobile Christian.

The AHSAA reclassifies teams every two years based on enrollment numbers. Because of the growing student population at FHS, the school rises from a Class 2A school to a Class 3A school.

W.S. Neal remains a 4A school and will face Andalusia, Escambia County, Monroe County, Satsuma, Thomasville and USM-Wright in region 1 play.
