The Brewton Burke’s Outlet store is closing.

Local store officials confirmed the April 23 closing earlier this week.

A corporate spokesman said Tuesday the outlet’s lease will expire April 30 and there are no plans to relocate the store in Brewton.

Under parent corporation Bealls, Burkes Outlet has approximately 420 stores in Alabama and 16 other states. The business has outlet stores in surrounding areas, such as Andalusia and Milton and Pensacola, Fla.
