An Atmore man is charged with murder in the shooting death of a Flomaton teen last week.

Flomaton Police Chief Bryan Davis said Devonta DeShawn Rollins, 20, has been arrested in connection with the death of 18-year-old Kenneth Harris Jr.

Harris was found dead of a single gunshot wound to the head Friday at a home on Lender Street.

Davis, whose department was assisted by Alabama’s State Bureau of Investigation, did not release the circumstances surrounding Harris’ death.

Rollins was booked into the Escambia County Detention Center and held on an unknown bond.
