Missing Tennessee teen found in Brewton

For the second time in two months, a missing teen was found in Brewton.
Just before 3 p.m. Tuesday, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency announced 16-year-old Jade Mullen was found in Brewton. Mullen was reported missing a week ago from her residence in Portland, Tenn.
Mullen was believed to be traveling with three others, including one wanted for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and another convicted of promoting prostitution. The group was thought to be traveling to Gulf Shores.
Law enforcement report Mullen was dropped off at the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office in Brewton sometime after lunch Tuesday.
In March, a missing Tallassee girl was found in Brewton after being reported missing for two weeks. A local woman responded to a missing child alert and police were able to confirm the girl’s identity and safely return her to her family.
