Brewton mayor Yank Lovelance was in attendance to address the kids and witness the event in the audience.
Kids were in for a treat this past week as the Brewton Fire Department visited the Brewton Public Library. Firefighter Neil Jerkins addressed the kids about fire safety. Fellow firefighter Chris Steele demonstrated how the firefighter put on their suit. Along with the firemen came their friend Dusty the Dragon who did a sing-along with the audience. The kids were also able to explore and learn about the fire truck.
