Dorothy Rae Jones

Dorothy Rae Jones died Aug. 9, 2016, in Brewton.
Funeral services were held Sat., Aug. 13, at 11 a.m. at Presley-Fluker Funeral Home Chapel in Brewton with the Rev. Barrett Coachman officiating. Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery in Brewton with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home in Brewton directing.
She was born Sept. 27, 1940, the fifth child born to Lillian Sassie and Jessie Ray Jones in Conecuh County. She received her education in the public schools of Conecuh County.
She was of the Baptist faith and believed in the Lord Jesus Christ. She died after a lengthy illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Emmett Jones and Herman Jones.
She is survived by six sisters, W. Delois Nettles, Gladys ( the Rev. Isreal) Culliver, both of Brewton, Lillie Mae Dodge, Katheleen (Joseph) Grove of Mobile, Lorie Jones of New York and Loretta (Lorenzo) Alexander of Montgomery; two brothers, Christopher (Latricia) Jones and Anthony (Danene) Jones, both of Montgomery; and several special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Nadine Stuckey Agerton
Brewton
Nadine Stuckey Agerton, 95, of Mason Street in Brewton, passed away Sat., Aug. 13, 2016, in a local hospital after a brief illness.
Visitation will be held today, Wed., Aug. 17, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Brewton.
Graveside services are scheduled to follow at 11 a.m. at Fort Crawford Cemetery in East Brewton with the Rev. John Finklea officiating.
Interment will follow in Fort Crawford Cemetery in East Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
She was a native and former resident of Monroe County before moving to Brewton. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brewton, and a retired seamstress from Judy Bond more than 30 years of service.
She is survived by her son, Billy (Sandy) Agerton of Mobile; two sisters, Margaret Pankey of Atlanta and Pat Rigby of Birmingham; four grandchildren, Keith (Melinda) Agerton, Melissa (David) Smilie, Savannah Agerton Coleman and Luke Agerton; and four great grandchildren, Kristian Agerton, Morgan Agerton, Luke Smilie and Kameron Coleman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Agerton; two sons, Tommy Agerton and Chuck Agerton; daughter-in-law, Nancy Trimble Agerton; grandson, Chris Agerton; and great grandson, Brandon Agerton.
