The public is invited to a community meeting Oct. 3 at Baptist Hill Baptist Church, 720 Sowell Road, at 6:30 p.m. regarding an update on the Sowell Road improvement project.

Mayor Yank Lovelace said Monday that project engineers and city officials will be present to update area residents on the upcoming project and answer any questions regarding the scope of the work planned.
