TRM,WSN to host area teams

Area tournaments will begin the week of Oct. 17 for T.R. Miller and W.S Neal.

TRM will host Class 3A Area 2 schools Hillcrest-Evergreen, Flomaton and Excel at the TRM gymnasium on Mon., Oct. 17. TRM will face off against Hillcrest at 2 p.m., followed by Flomaton versus Excel at 3:30 p.m. The winner of both matches will play at 5 p.m. to determine area champions. Area winner and runner-up will advance to the regional tournament in Montgomery.

WSN will host Class 4A Area 2 schools Monroe County and Escambia County on Tues., Oct. 18. Monroe will play Escambia County at 4 p.m. WSN will play the winner of the previous match at 5 p.m. to determine the area winner. Area winner and runner-up will advance to the regional tournament in Montgomery.
