Speeders, beware – a number of Brewton city streets will soon boast new speed breakers and traffic modifications.

Brewton Police Chief Monte McGougin presented the list Monday to “help advance safe driving and lowered speeds in residential areas.”

A new four-way stop at the intersection of Underwood and Sowell Road will be installed, and speed break locations in District No. 4 include:

• East Jackson Street;

• Conley Avenue;

• Lovelace Avenue;

• Underwood East Street;

• East Street;

• Lambert Street;

• St. Joseph Avenue;

• Brooks Street;

• Rankin Street; and,

• Martin Luther King at Sportsman Park.
In District No. 5, speed break locations include:
• Dawson Street;

• Fleming Lane; and,

• Stallworth Street.
