Helen Elizabeth Morrell Hendricks

Helen Elizabeth Morrell Hendricks, 88, of The Trails in Brewton, passed away Sun., Dec. 18, 2016, in a local nursing facility after a brief illness.
Visitation will be held today, Dec. 21, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Brewton. Funeral services will follow at noon at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Bernie Raines officiating. Interment will follow in Dixonville Cemetery in Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
She was a native of Florida and a long time resident of Brewton. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, Wayne (Shirley) Morrell of Pensacola; daughter, Jean (Mike) Corbin of Pensacola; four grandchildren, Justin Morrell, Deanna Clark, Ron Corbin and Josh Gilmore; four great grandchildren, Rebecca Corbin, James Corbin, Amber Gibson and Brittney Gibson; and three great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son, Michael Gilmore.

Leonard Winfield Conrad
Brewton
Leonard Winfield “Len” Conrad, 82, of Brewton, passed away Wed., Dec. 14, 2016, in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital.
Funeral services were held on Sat., Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Flomaton Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Pettis and the Rev. Keith Holt officiating and Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Interment followed in Flomaton Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Wade Brown, Rex Allen, Christopher Conrad, Jonathan Thompson, Kris Barkhouse and Edward Stewart. Honorary pallbearer was Roy Baggett.
He was born in Tuckerton, Pa., and had been a resident of the Brewton area since 1973 following his retirement from the U.S. Air Force. He owned and operated Len’s Jewelers for a number of years, operated Atmore Dragway, Camp Delta RV Park in Stockton, and owned Check It Out Liquidation Store. He was a former fire chief with the Wallace Volunteer Fire Department. He attended Hanberry Holiness Church.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Conrad of Brewton; two sons, Ronnie (Becky) Conrad of Flomaton, Dwayne Conrad of Flomaton; three daughters, Karen Allen of Atmore, Roberta (Keith) Holt of Flomaton, and Amy (Kris) Barkhouse of Stockton; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hanberry Cemetery.

Sharon Denise Jackson Fountain, 62, of Brewton, passed away on Mon., Dec. 12, 2016.
Funeral services were held Sat., Dec. 17, at 11 a.m. at Second St. Siloam Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Willie J. Blue officiating and Presley–Fluker Funeral Directors directing.
Interment followed at Baptist Hill Cemetery in Brewton.
She was born on Aug. 27, 1954 to Mamie Bernice Miles and Birt Barton in Brewton.
At an early age she joined Second Saint Siloam Baptist Church. She attended school at Booker T. Washington and T.R. Miller High School.
She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Mamie Bernice Miles of Brewton; father, Birt (Shirley) Barton of Brewton; daughter, LaTonya Fountain of Brewton; three grandchildren, Mykail Johnson, Damorae “DJ” and KaMari Fountain, all of Brewton; one great grandson, Arkail Reed; four brothers, Ralph (Marie) Barton of Brewton, Kenneth (Cherly) Barton of Greenville, N.C., Marvin Barton of Brewton, and Henry (Tanya) Barton of Opelika; sister, Monica Barnett of Greenville; a host of aunts and uncles; a number of nieces and nephews who fondly doted upon their beloved auntie and countless cousins and friends that will treasure her lasting memory.
Ricky Stallworth
Repton
Ricky Stallworth, 52, passed away on Sat., Dec.10, 2016.
Funeral services were held Fri., Dec.16, at 11 a.m. at Presley-Fluker Brewton Funeral Chapel in Brewton with Pastor J. O. Meeks officiating and Presley–Fluker Funeral Directors directing.
Interment followed at Mt. Rose Baptist Church Cemetery in Repton.
He was born April 30, 1964, to Dorothy Stallworth who preceded him in death on Dec. 20, 1998. He attended church at Mt. Rose Baptist Church and school at Alabama School for the Deaf in Talladega.
He was a person who was dedicated to his job and work. He was a workaholic. He was a person who helped many people doing odd jobs. He had a big heart. His jobs included landscaping, carpentry and plumbing. He also worked for Trucking Company Express One for 10 years.
His memories will be cherished by his five children, Zenda Davis of Columbus, Ohio, Rachel Davis (Karvin Grace) of Birmingham, Jeremiah Williams of Anniston; Athena Davis of Columbus, and Keona Page of Cullman; sisters, Catherine Stallworth of Tuscaloosa, Carolyn Ann Stallworth Johnson of Talladega, Jean Stallworth of Birmingham, Donna Stallworth (Gerald) and Dora Stallworth, both of Brewton, and Delisa McMillian (Reggie) of Atmore; two brothers, Richard Stallworth (Debra) of Montgomery, and Darren Stallworth of Brewton; godmother, Alma Dailey; a companion, Denise Johnson; devoted friends, Brenda Millier and Octiva Crum, both of Brewton; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
