Jessica Michelle Norwood, 29, of Auburn, passed away on Sat., Dec. 24, 2016.
Visitation will be held on Thurs., Dec. 29, at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Fri., Dec. 30, at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. with Pastor Kathy Chavers and Maggie Silbernagel speaking.
Pallbearers will be Greg Bush, Denver Mosley, Cameron Fillingim, Matt Mize, Corey Williamson and Cody Turner.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Sansom, Michael Sansom, Chuck Sansom, Tracey Owens, Lane Whitworth and Darrel Owens.
Interment will follow in Flomaton Cemetery in Flomaton with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
She was born in Pensacola, Fla. She graduated from Flomaton High School in 2005 and attended Auburn University where she earned an accounting degree in 2010. While attending Auburn University, she was a member of the ASSN Alumni. She was the owner and operator of her business, Hot Damn Jelly Company.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Charles H. Sansom; and her paternal grandparents, Silas N. and Maybelle Norwood.
She is survived by her parents, Ronny and Beth Norwood of Flomaton; maternal grandmother, Ruth Elizabeth Sansom of Pensacola; maternal great-grandmother, Mary Stanton of Nevada; brothers, John Christian Norwood of Pensacola, and Joey Nevon Norwood of Hartselle; sister, Elizabeth Rae Norwood of Flomaton; and special fur babies, Alffi and Pepper.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Auburn Arts Association or Lee County Humane Society.

Edith Cornelia Bodiford
Brewton
Edith Cornelia “Pete” Bodiford, 89, of Pineview Street, passed away Tues., Dec. 20, 2016, in a local nursing facility after a brief illness.
Funeral services were held Fri., Dec. 23, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Frankie Godsey officiating. Interment followed in Ramah Cemetery, Lenox, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
She was a native of Castleberry, a former resident of Pensacola, Fla., and a long time resident of Brewton. She was of the Holiness faith, enjoyed taking care of children and talking about her family and close friends.
She is survived by a half brother, David Kilmer Bodiford of Castleberry, a half sister, Ann Estelle Warren of Georgia, and number of nieces and nephews, including a niece, Ann Bodiford (John) Blasy of Pensacola; and a nephew, Nolan (Louise) James of Brewton.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Hansford Bodiford, Alvin Bodiford and Allen Bodiford; and three sisters, Lillian James, Ethel Fuqua and Sallie Mae Williamson.

Wilma Lee Dubose Williams

Wilma Lee Dubose Williams, 78, of Foshee Road in Brewton, passed away Fri., Dec. 23, 2016, at her residence after a brief illness.
Funeral services were held Tues., Dec. 27, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Donnie Lindsey and the Rev. Gwinettte Lindsey officiating. Interment followed in Fort Crawford Cemetery in East Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
She was a native and life long resident of Brewton. She was a member of the Rock Hill Assembly of God Church. She attended Henley-Roberts School and the W.S. Neal School System. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Pat Booker of Holt, Fla., and John (Regina) Booker of Rock Creek; two daughters, Amanda Darlene Booker of Brewton, and Teresa (Larry) Knowles of Brewton; two brothers, Charles (Mary) Dubose and Billy (Eva) Dubose, both of Brewton; two sisters, Merle Pate of Brewton, and Margie Johnson of East Brewton; eight grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Harold Williams, Sr. and Delno Sellers; and brothers, Delmus Buddy Dubose and Gene Dubose.

Riley Ray Mullins
Century, Fla.
Riley Ray Mullins, 89, of Century, passed away on Wed., Dec. 21, 2016, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola.
Funeral services were held at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel on Mon., Dec. 26, at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor William H. Chancery officiating and Flomaton Funereal Home directing.
Interment followed in Flomaton Cemetery in Flomaton.
Pallbearers were Tyler Walker, Ronny Walker, Issac Anderson, Derris Greggs, Aubrey Greggs and Charles Wicker.
He was born in McCullough, and had been a resident of Century since 1959 coming from McCullough. He worked as a forester for 18 years and was with Alger Sullivan Lumber Company for 48 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Century.
He was preceded in death by his son, Donnie Ray Mullins, Sr., 10 siblings and son-in-law, John William Collins.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Lee Mullins of Century; daughters, Laura (William) Chancery of McDavid, Fla., and Charlotte Collins of Flomaton; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Middleton Hagood Hammac
East Brewton
Middleton Hagood “Doc” Hammac, 85, passed away at his East Brewton residence on Thurs., Dec. 22, 2016.
Funeral services were held on Mon., Dec. 26, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Quick officiating. Interment, with military honors, will followed in Fort Crawford Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Doug Maddox, Benny Maddox, Scotty Nix, Robert Portwood, Tony Tettleton and Sampson Jones.
He was born in the Wallace Community and was a life-long resident of the Brewton area. He retired as a sawyer for T.R. Miller Saw Mill after nearly 40 years of service. He was of the L.D.S. faith and attended the Assembly of God Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a member of the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Hammac and Bessie Albertson Hammac; his wife, Betty Jo Scott Hammac; and a daughter, Wanda Jo Blackwell.
He is survived by four sons, Dennis Ray (Sheila) Hammac of Spokane, Wash., James M. (Debra) Hammac, Timothy Allen Hammac and Scotty Hammac, all of East Brewton; one sister, Peggy Dempsey of East Brewton; 11 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Clifford Richard Boggs
Brewton
Clifford Richard Boggs, 80, passed away Tues., Dec. 20, 2016, at his Brewton residence.
Funeral services were held on Tues., Dec. 27, at 11 a.m. at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church in Lyeffion, with the Rev. Timothy Boggs and the the Rev. Larry Watts officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
He was born in Harlan, Ky., and had been a resident of Brewton for the past two years, coming from Spanish Fort. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a minister of the gospel, was of the Baptist faith, and attended Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church.
He is survived by four sons, Timothy (Dana) Boggs of Brewton, Greg (Judy) Boggs of Mississippi, and Richard (Michelle) Boggs and Chris (Kristi) Boggs, both of Tennessee.

Jeffery Keith Smith
Brewton
Jeffery Keith Smith, 57, of Blair Road of Brewton, passed away Wed., Dec. 21, 2016, in a local hospital after a brief illness.
Memorial services will be held at a later date and time.
He was a native and life long resident of Brewton. He was a member of the Catawba Springs Baptist Church. He attended the Pollard-McCall and Flomaton School system, and was a deck hand on a tug boat.
He is survived by his mother, Sarah Chavers Eiland of Brewton; three brothers, Thomas Gregory Eiland of Jay, Fla., David W. Eiland of Texas, and Jerry L. Eiland of Flomaton; and four nieces and nephews.
