The T.R. Miller Lady Tigers put on another strong showing Tuesday night against area rival Flomaton, defeating the Lady Hurricanes 56-5. Steely Ruzic led the team with 13 points and four steals. Malaysia Campbell came off the bench to post 11 points, five rebounds and five steals in the win. Miller had 30 steals against Flomaton.

The boy’s varsity team suffered another tough loss, losing 57-49 . After a relatively close half with Miller down 27-26, Flomaton pulled away in the third quarter with a barrage of 3-pointers, taking a 46-31 lead at the end of three. Miller outscored Flomaton 18-11 in the fourth, but it wasn’t enough for the comeback. Michael Smith led the team with 15 points. Jordan Williams had 12 points off the bench.

Corey Bailey had 16 points to lead Flomaton.

The B-team lost 39-30. Kedarrius Jenkins had 12 points for Miller in the loss.
