Both the W.S. Neal Lady Eagles and boy’s B-team picked up wins versus JU Blacksher this past Thursday. The boy’s varsity team lost a tight game to the Bulldogs, 78-75.

The Lady Eagles defeated JU Blacksher 37-21.

The WSN varsity boys trailed 31-29 at the half. Both teams came out scoring in the third quarter. JU Blacker outscored Neal 24-20. JU Blaksher eight grader, KD Rabb, had his best quarter of the game, scoring 11 points. Neal outscored JU Blacksher 26-21 in the fourth quarter (Neal’s Jacobey Hawthorne scored 12 points in the quarter), but the scoring effort wasn’t enough to keep the Bulldogs from securing the win.

Leading WSN was Hawthorne with 27 points. Marvin Maddox had 20 points. Kenneth Walker had 13 points.

Rabb finished with 25 points to lead JU Blacksher. Dillan Baldwin had 17 points.

WSN was 11-for-27 from the free throw line.

The WSN B-team defeated JU Blacksher 44-35. Aquarius Taylor had 14 points to lead WSN. Taylor Fountain had 10 points. Wyatt Hunley and Jordan Hails had five points each.
