The T.R. Miller Lady Tigers defeated Flomaton, 43-18, in the semifinals of the Class 3A Area 2 tournament in Evergreen. Miller had an explosive 16-point second quarter to outpace the Lady Hurricanes.

Leading the way in scoring was Steely Ruzic with 12 points. Morgan Longmire scored 11 points, which includes nine points behind the arc.

Miller will play host team, Hillcrest-Evergreen in the finals on Thurs., Feb. 9 at 4 p.m.

Miller was 0-2 versus Hillcrest in the regular season. Hillcrest is 19-1 for the season.
