The W.S. Neal Eagles closed out area play Friday, defeating Escambia County, 14-2

Weston Riddle had two doubles and 2 RBIs to lead the Eagles on offense. Matt Thomas was 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBIs. Jacobey Hawthorne, Matt Hutchins, Hunter Revel, Aaron Bosarge and Marcus Simmons each had a hit.

Riddle picked up the win on the mound for Neal. He allowed two runs on two hits and struck out six.

The Eagles improve to 8-3 on the season.
