Three local teens are being hailed as heroes after pulling a Foshee Road woman from her burning home Saturday evening.

Riley Fore, Kalanea Fore and Cheyene Hammond were traveling down Foshee Road when they noticed what they thought was a bonfire burning in a resident’s backyard.

It wasn’t long before the two realized it was something much more dangerous – a house fire. When the two stopped, they immediately began pounding on the windows and doors, only to hear someone calling for help. The three were able to get the elderly woman out of the home before working to put out the fire.
