WSN performs well in win over JU Blacksher

The W.S. Neal Lady Eagles won its final home regular season game against J.U. Blacksher on Thursday, 7-3.
Seniors Adria Barnett and Tori Wyatt had good showings on senior night. Barnett was 4-for-4 at the plate with an RBI. Tori Wyatt was 2-for-3 with an RBI. Brianna Pugh, Natalie Wyatt, Madison White and Madison Hawthorne had a hit.
Sydney Stewart, Alaina Peacock, Jee-Lauren Nipper and Kaitlyn Richerson each had two hits for JU Blacksher.
Barnett picked up the win, pitching 5.2 innings, allowing three runs, all unearned, on eight hits and six walks. She had two strikeouts.
Neal dropped two games this past weekend.Neal was defeated by Excel 12-0, and J.U. Blacksher 3-1.
Neal had only two hits versus Excel.
Versus JU Blacksher WSN surrendered three all three runs in the fifth inning. Both team had four hits. Tori Wyatt and Natalie Wyatt each had a triple.
The Lady Eagles will next play at Pleasant Home tomorrow., April 27 at 4:30 p.m.
