During the week of May 20, 2017, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office responded to 208 complaints and 3 domestic calls; served 62 civil papers; and performed 54 transports, 1 domestic escort and 3 funeral escorts. Arrested were:

• Byron Law, 30, of Brewton, for inmate possession of cellphone.
• Anastasio Moore, 39, of Brewton, for inmate possession of cellphone.
• Edward D. Sims, 47, of Castleberry, for domestic violence III.
• Earl J. Lane, 33, of Brewton, for failure to appear.
