Rain, rain – go away! It’s soon to be Blueberry Saturday.
Either way, Brewton Chamber of Commerce officials said a little rain wouldn’t stop the 37th annual Blueberry Festival.
Things will kick off Saturday at 8 a.m. as scores of vendors welcome visitors to Jennings Park.
While there is a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms during the day, Chamber executive director Judy Crane said things will continue as planned unless dangerous weather arrives.
“We ask all of our vendors to commit until 3 p.m. and continue until as long as it remains safe,” Crane said. “We’re not going to let a little rain get in the way of our good time.”
