The Brewton 8U All-Star team finished eighth overall at the state tournament in Opp. Brewton had a 3-1 record in pool play, defeating Sumter 16-3, Bay Minette 5-4, and Grand Bay 9-8.

Brewton loss 11-7 to Lineville.

Brewton was eliminated by Alex City after losing 19-5. Alex City advanced to the championship but fell to Daphne.

Brewton 16, Sumter 3

Dalton Mandel was 4-for-4 with a double and a run scored. Trusten Barrentine was 4-for-4 with two doubles and three runs scored. Cole McMillan was 4-for-4 with a triple, home run and two runs scored. Brewton had 25 hits as a team.

Brewton 5, Bay Minette 4

Cole McMillan was 4-for-4 at the plate with two runs scored. Trusten Barrentine had three hits. Myles Burt had two hits. Brewton had 19 hits as a team.

Brewton 7, Lineville 11

Trusten Barrentine was 4-for-4 with a double and three runs scored. Cole McMillan was 4-for-4 with two doubles, a triple, and two runs scored. Damion DeRidder was 3-for-3 with a run scored. Colby Baxter had a single and scored a run.

Brewton 9, Grand Bay 8

Cole McMillan, Dalton Mandel and Taylor Thompson each had three hits and scored two runs in the win. Myles Burt and Trusten Barrentine each had three hits and scored a run. Colt Thomas had a hit and scored a run. Will Clark had a double. Evan Anthony had a single.
