T.R. Miller vs. Mobile Christian

T.R. Miller will travel to Mobile Christian Friday night in a battle for first place, as both teams enter the game 3-0.
Both teams have been dominant this year, as the Tigers have outscored opponents 112-49 and the Leopards have outscored opponents 97-31.
The two teams have only faced each other once, a matchup that Mobile Christian won in 2016, 27-19.
Michael Campbell had a rushing touchdown in the game, and Matthew Morgan made two field goals in the effort.
Mobile Christian head coach Ronnie Cottrell is a former student of T.R. Miller, and has since been an assistant coach at Florida State and Alabama. He led Mobile Christian to the 3A AHSAA state championship game last year.
This game has implications to be one of the biggest games of the year for the Tigers, and a win would give them sole possession of first place with 6 games remaining on the schedule.
Treading will be tough in Mobile, but head coach Andrew Thomas believes in his team’s ability to find ways to win no matter the circumstances.
“We know how to win, and we never give up on ourselves.” Thomas said. “Hopefully we can focus throughout the week and be ready for the game.”
GO TIGERS!
