Community of Christ Church in East Brewton is working to build a pavilion on some property the congregation purchased on Dailey Street.

To raise money, church members will hold a rummage sale March 8-10.

The sale will be at the church located at 507 Forrest Ave., next to the United States Post Office.

On Thursday and Friday, the sale will be from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., and on Saturday from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m.

There will be a variety of items for sale there.

Gregory Wendling of the church said that the money would go toward building a pavilion in the area.

“Most of it has been cleared out and we have had some services out there,” he said. “We had an Easter egg hunt and will build some bathroom facilities there.”
