During the week of Feb. 24, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Of ce responded to 297 complaints and calls for service, served 91 civil papers, made 59 trans- ports, and performed one domestic and one funeral escort.
Arrested were:

• Takira N. Thomas, 27, of Atmore for theft by fraud- ulent leasing;
• Nicholas C. Puryear, 31, of Brewton for unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a controlled substance;
• Ashley L. Tucker, 33, of Atmore for negotiating a worthless negotiable instru- ment;
• Terri M. Thomas, 46, of Brewton for failure to ap- pear;
• Courtney S. Bullard, 27, of Brewton for failure to ap- pear;

• Kerry K. McCall, 35, of Jay for failure to appear;
