Ms. Sheryl Ann Nelson Hammac age 59 of Harrison Avenue in East Brewton, passed away Wednesday morning May 30, 2018 at her residence after a brief illness. Mrs. Hammac was a native of Fort Belvoir, Virginia and had resided in Escambia County, Alabama most of her life. She was of the Christian faith and a homemaker.

Survivors; son, Chris (Caffey) Hammac of East Brewton, Ala; daughter, Nikki Hammac of Brewton; brother, Charlie (Sonja) Nelson of Brewton; 2 sisters; Cindy Nelson Monk of East Brewton; Kandice Alexandra (Dotheo) Marye of Pensacola, Fl; grandchildren; Logan Fore, Anna Fore, Cody Hammac, Ashley Hammac, Chase Hammac, Jennifer Hammac, and Sara Hammac; nieces, Andi Bailey of East Brewton, Jessica Nelson of Brewton, Melissa Nelson Cochran, and Emily Nelson Minton; honorable mention, Debbie (Steve) Morris of Brewton; numerous other family members.

She was preceded in death by the father of her children; Cecil Ray Hammac; father and mother, Leonard E. Nelson and Ethelene Ryals Golden.

Visitation will be held Sunday June 3, 2018 from 12 until 1PM service time at Craver’s Funeral Home Inc.

Funeral services for Ms. Sheryl Ann Nelson Hammac are scheduled for Sunday June 3, 2018 at 1:00PM from the Chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Greer officiating. Interment to follow in Union Cemetery Brewton with Craver’s Funeral Home Inc of Brewton directing.
