A single vehicle crash at 7:10 p.m., Aug. 28, has claimed the life of two Repton men, Conan L. Ivey, 42 and Nathan R. Ivey, 17 were killed when the 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe they were riding in left the roadway and struck a tree. Conan Ivey was pronounced dead on scene. Nathan Ivey was transported to Sacred Heart in Pensacola, Fl, where he died from his injuries. The driver, Elizabeth Ivey, 42, of Repton was injured and transported to Sacred Heart. The crash occurred on Interstate 65 at the 60.2 mile marker, three miles north of Atmore. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
