Locals looking to relocate to the Pollard-McCall School District could take advantage of a new subdivision going up.
Mason Fleming said he has six smaller front lots and eight 4-acre lots.
“It’s located near the race track, about half a mile before Pollard,” he said. “I just got through paving a road that’s a quarter of a mile of road.”
Fleming said the subdivision is called Indian Trails and the lots will be restricted.
Front lots start at $16,000 and the 4-acre parcels start at $25,000.
“I have prints or will build yours,” he said.
Fleming said being zoned for PMJHS is a great selling point for his subdivision.
“It’s also close to the historical community of Pollard,” he said.
Fleming said he wasn’t concerned about the noise coming from the racetrack.
“There is a lot of timber surrounding the property that provides a sound barrier,” he said.
Fleming said the water line has already been run and property owner will need to put in a service pole.
“Southern Pine Electric Cooperative has the right-of-way,” he said.
