Mrs. Thelma Alberta Hobbs Baggett age 83 of Milton, Florida passed away Thursday September 20, 2018 in a Century, Florida nursing facility after a brief illness. She was a native and former resident of Castleberry, Alabama before moving to Milton, Florida. Mrs. Baggett was a member of the Union Grove Baptist Church, She attended the Damascus School, and was a Bookkeeper and homemaker.
Survivors include her son, Craig Baggett of Castleberry; two brothers Lewis Hobbs of East Brewton, and Sanford Hobbs of Chumuckla, Florida; two sisters, Ola Mae Dixon of East Brewton, and Shirley Frazier of Dixie, and eight grandchildren, as well as a number of great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by a son, Michael Baggett; daughter, Becky Baggett; two brothers, Donnie Hobbs and Joe Hobbs; two grandchildren Christian Baggett and Jimmy White.
Visitation was held Sunday night Sept. 23, 2018 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel.
Funeral Services were scheduled for Monday afternoon September 24, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Stickle officiating. Interment will follow in Union Grove Cemetery Castleberry.
