Troy police are investigating the death of a 19-year-old Troy woman.

Police arrived at The Arch apartments at approximately 9:17  a.m. and discovered Alaysia Rag’uel Pierre-Louis deceased inside the residence. Pierre-Louis is a TRM alum.

“The cause of death is not known at this time,” said Troy Police Chief Randall Barr. “Pierre-Louis’s body
will be taken to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science for autopsy.”

No other information is available at this time.

The Troy Police Department is being assisted by the Pike County District Attorney’s Office, The Pike County Coroner’s Office and The Alabama Department of Forensic Science.

“The Troy Police Department extends our deepest condolences to the family of Alaysia Rag’uel Pierre-Louis during this most difficult time,” Barr said.
