On Sept. 29,2018 at approximately 10:50 p.m., Brewton Police Department officers responded to a report of shots fired at the Whataburger location on Douglas Ave.

Upon arrival, officers found that an unoccupied vehicle in the parking lot had been shot several times.

After an investigation, it was determined that Ladarius Quaman Smith had fired several rounds from a pistol in the parking lot after an argument with another male.

Smith has been arrested and charged with one felony count of discharging a firearm into an unoccupied vehicle.
