Ernest “Wayne” Conner, born in Wilmington, N.C. on Feb. 12, 1944 and passed away, in his home surrounded by his children, on Dec. 9, 2018. He was a mason and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Conner; mother, Evelyn Conner; and two brothers, Gene and Larry Conner. He is survived by daughters, Angie (Larry) Waltz, Cindy Grissett, and Michelle (Tim) Green; son Brad (Christy) Conner; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Service will be on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018 at Friendship Freewill Baptist Church. Visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and service is scheduled for 12 p.m.
