Williamson has debut with Bama baseball

TRM alumni Drew Williamson made his collegiate debut during the Alabama Crimson Tide baseball series against Presbyterian and Jacksonville State.
For the weekend series, Williamson was 2-for-8 with four walks.
According to stats provided by rolltide.com, Williamson had four at bats with one hit against Presbyterian with a single to right field in the bottom of the third inning. The Tide won 9-4 on Feb. 16. He also had 10 putouts against Presbyterian on Feb. 15.
In the bottom of the second against Jacksonville State, Williamson was walked, and scored, putting Bama up 3-1. The Crimson Tide went on to win 13-3 on Feb. 18.
Next game for the Crimson Tide is Wednesday, Feb. 20 against Alabama State.
Williamson is the son of Ed and Leslie Williamson.
