Law Day set

Local high school seniors will get to experience Law Day at the Escambia County Courthouse on May 2 and May 3. The students will register to vote, network with legal officials and participate in mock trials.
The students will meet County Commission Chairman Raymond Wiggins, President of Escambia County Bar Wade Hartley and many more.
On May 2, Atmore Christian School, Escambia Academy and Escambia County High School will participate in a mock trial about drug possession. On May 3, Flomaton High School, T. R. Miller School and W. S. Neal High School will participate in a mock trial about racing on the highway. The students participating on May 3 will also have the opportunity to hear from State of Alabama Attorney General Steven T. Marshall.
